Happy Friday! We are ready for a fun weekend of relaxing, doing some projects around the house, and heading to dinner and a movie with some friends. Call me crazy, but there is no one on earth more excited to see Jurassic World 2 than this girl right here! Please tell me I’m not alone in my obsession with the first one. Anyone?!
1. We had a couple of hours to kill between church and lunch on Father’s Day, so we hit up Toddler Time at Sky Zone! I parked my sore, pregnant butt in a massage chair (only to realize $10 later that yup, I hate massage chairs) with a book while the boys jumped and played. Camden was so excited to “Jump jump wif Dada!” and I thought it was so sweet of Nathan to chose jumping on “his” day! Local friends, while this was fun, we liked the Toddler Time at Elite Air in Newburgh SO much more. Sky Zone didn’t have a few of the areas open and, even though there weren’t many kids there at all, they wouldn’t let Nathan much of anything. Elite Air was much more laid back.

2. Still going strong in my non-maternity clothes for now, but this bump is certainly making it’s self known a lot faster this time around! I’ve stumbled on a few awesome summer staples that I wanted to share with you guys.
First, these BP t-shirts are my all-time favorite basic tee and have the perfect cut to fit over my growing belly. My shorts are the Universal Thread brand from Target, are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever owned, and you won’t believe the price ($17!!!). The sandals are Old Navy and I love them! I sized up and they fit comfortably. I love the navy color (because of who I am as a person) but returned the blush colored pair because they looked cheap to me in person. Just a heads up!
3. Some family just got back from our favorite place in the world, Captiva Island, and brought us home the BEST “souvenir” ever – cheese bread from our favorite bakery! We go through loaves upon loaves of this stuff while we are there and pretty much eat it toasted for breakfast and as some sort of sandwich daily for lunch! #lowcarbvacay Camden and I loved starting the day thinking of our favorite place this week!

4. Have you all seen these self-filling water balloons? I spent HOURS not three years ago filling and tying water balloon after water balloon for an end of the season cheer party. Where were these then? (They probably totally were a thing). ANYWAYS, they are amazing. You literally screw the stick into your hose, hold the balloons over something that will catch them gently (I used our baby pool), then they pop right off ALREADY tied when they are full. Amen. It takes maybe a minute. Boom. My mind was blown! Now if the little broken pieces of balloon would pick themselves up…
5. So, even though we said we weren’t going to do it this year, we booked a little beach trip for late August last night. Insert monkey covering his eyes emoji here. I just kept thinking about how this is our last summer as a family of three and how much Camden LOVES all things water right now so I begged Nathan to let me look for a place we where could use our Marriott points to stay. The only thing I knew is that we wanted to stay in the panhandle region because it’s a straight shot down from Indiana and will only take about 8-9 hours depending. It was harder than I thought to settle on a place but, for many different reasons, we chose Navarre Beach! Has anyone been there? It’s just about 20 minutes outside of Pensacola. Give me allll your recs if so! We are 100%, hands down, beach people who don’t like to deal with a lot of touristy business so I think (hope) this will be the right fit!
