Helloooo Monday! I hope all of you east coast friends are hanging in there and maybe even able to get out of your house today. We got like, 8 inches max. of snow over several days this week in Southern Indiana and that was enough to shut half the city down. I really can not imagine getting several FEET. Yuck. No thanks. Move along.

Like I said, we had several snowy days this week (One Wednesday – then it all melted, then another on Friday??) so of course I craved iced coffee on Thursday when it was thirty degrees outside #heatwave. I would blame it on a pregnancy craving but I just really love McDonald’s iced vanilla coffee sometimes.
I love my best friend to pieces. One of my favorite things about her is that she birthed our Godson 1.5 years ago who is the most precious child on the planet. Also, he is just that (a boy) like the baby in my belly right now. Not only can they be best friends but HAND ME DOWNS PEOPLE! Hand. Me. Downs. Forever! Amen.

Wednesday we got a couple inches of snow/ice and since nothing needed dire attention at work I took a snow day (yes, I am aware that my job is awesome) and was equal parts lazy and productive. I can now officially say that I am a person who watches The Bachelor. I caught up on the whole season so far and now I’m just wondering what took me so long to jump on this train. Either way, love it. I also washed our couch (which I almost have down to a science but still takes a full day) and boxed up everything in Nathan’s man cave (soon to be the office). Of course there were many puppy snuggles, too!
Alright, help me out here. I watched these Nate Berkus lamp bases for months, loving them from afar before they went on clearance and I realized there was no more time to wait. I love them. BUT, I’m having the hardest time finding the right shades for them. Too big, too small, not quite right – the picture above is my third try and I’m at the end of my rope! Do we like these? They seem a little small but they are for our beside tables so they can’t be too big, either. And the color. Does that match the gold? GIVE ME ALL OF YOUR OPINIONS, PLEASE.

We braved the snow on Friday so we could make our OB appointment and see Camden! During the ultrasound the lady just whipped out the 4D picture and we lost our minds! Honestly, those pictures typically freak me out but when it’s your own child it’s obviously the coolest thing ever. I tear up every time I look at that picture of him. I can not believe that is our son. I’m still waiting on someone to jump out and say “Just kidding! You aren’t really having a baby!” I thought this made me a nutcase but so many of you said the same thing on Instagram so thanks for making me feel semi-normal.
We have been studying this verse at church for the last few weeks and I thought it was a perfect fit for the seasonal chalkboard. I could definitely use the daily reminder to love people more, no doubt.

Our house is technically four bedrooms but this room is too small to even be a nursery! It used to be full of manly things like sports memorabilia and other stuff of Nathan’s that didn’t fit anywhere else in the house so we called it the man cave. Since it didn’t get much use and we are moving the baby into the former office we spent this weekend packing up and cleaning out both rooms so we can paint them ASAP! (PLEASE HUSBAND)

As part of our weekend organizing I picked up this pretty box from Target and organized my jewelry. I’m sure a normal person wouldn’t be as excited about this as me, but normal 27-year-olds probably stopped storing their jewelry in shoe boxes long ago. Don’t worry, my necklaces are still being hung on pushpins so it hasn’t all gone to my head 
I woke up Sunday feeling really sick to my stomach so we skipped church and the other plans we had and hung out in bed watching Harry Potter most of the day. In the end I think this poor, pregnant body really can’t hang with my mexican food addiction and I just need to accept it. Percy is never upset to spend the day in bed but I really wanted to get more organizing done. Boo.
Ohh, we saw the Revenant this weekend too and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it! I can totally see why Leo is getting so many awards and nominations. Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?
