1. Electric Cooktop Advice
You all totally came through for me over on Instagram this week when I asked for recommendations on how to keep our electric cooktop clean! Weiman Cooktop Cleaner and good ‘ole elbow grease was by far the most popular response so I Primed this set that included the cleaner, a scrub pad, and a razor for those really tough areas. It worked like a charm so THANK YOU! Other popular answers were Norwex cleaning paste and Bar Keepers Friend.
2. Island Stools
One of the very first things I bought for the new house were these gorgeous rattan kitchen stools. I pulled them out the day our island went in and THEY WERE TOO TALL. Sob. Devastation. I can not tell you how sad I was. So now I’m on the hunt for the same style in counter height – which is proving difficult!
3. Target Jeans on Sale
Unless you are super new around here, you know that I LOVE Target’s Universal Thread denim line. The quality and price points can not be beat! I’ve needed another pair of jeans with no distressing so I took advantage of their sale this week and grabbed a few more pairs. GUYS. All of these are UNDER $20 right now. Some WELL under. I’ve worn these medium wash jeggings almost every day this week and you know these light wash (pictured) are my all time favorite! Finally, if you are looking for a pair with distressing these are awesome!
4. Christmas Shopaholic
I’ve been reading the Shopaholic series for years and even though the last couple of books fell flat for me I was super excited to see that there was a Christmas story coming out this year. I immediately requested it from the library and holy cow it does not disappoint! Becky Bloomwood (the protagonist) has always made me LOL and this book is no exception. I don’t think you need to have read any of the other books in the series to enjoy this one so if you like a Christmas-y read I highly recommend you pick it up!
5. Lucy’s Birthday
I’m not sure how it happened, but our baby girl is going to be ONE in less than a week. We are celebrating this weekend with a few family members and close friends. Nathan and I have been busting our butts to get the house in semi-order and we are so excited to celebrate our sweet girl after a long, hard few weeks.
Have a great weekend, friends!
