America’s freedom, duh! We had a really fun, whirlwind 24 hours of fun for the 4th and our hearts are full, but we are tired. Fireworks, family, friends, and swimming for hours and hours…it was what 4th of July dreams are made of! Full recap coming Monday.

Guys, I don’t bake. The precise measurements and knowing the difference between baking soda and baking powder, I just can’t. Who has the time?! You can find me at the grill though! Making this grilled corn salad as often as I possibly can.
W E A R I N G
It feels like I’m living in this swimsuit almost every day, but since I’ve been sharing more outfit posts over on my Facebook page I guess that’s not 100% true! I definitely stayed in it for almost 12 hours yesterday though, which is a mark of a great 4th in my opinion.
L O V I N G
Summer. Just generally. I’ll take the hot over cold any day and we are in such a sweet spot with Camden’s age (26 mo) right now. He’s just so much fun! I’m trying to soak it all up since I know next summer with a 3 year old and a 6mo old will look very different.
June’s Top 5 Blog Posts
1. The #1 post of the month was this Friday Five post, which is definitely a first! I’ve accepted the fact that you all love Friday 5 posts and really tried hard to make sure to get one of those up each week. Three out of four in June was a real win!
2. Next was our working day in the life post! So many of you have been (understandably) openly curious what it looks like to work alongside a toddler a few days a week and I was thrilled you liked this post. Day in the life post are always fun though, right?!
3. This post about the four recent home purchases that are changing my life was also a big hit in June. I’m planning another “Last 10 Amazon Purchases” and a post about some Amazon Prime clothes that I’ve purchased lately (hits and misses) for July so I hope those go over just as well!
4. Coming in fourth place was my post about Baby Sansing #2. Second baby already not getting as much love as it’s older brother. Kidding! You all were SO supportive in the comments, emails, and DMs you sent me about that post. I just love you and this community so much. Mean it!!
5. And rounding out the top five was THIS Friday Five post. I’m telling ya, they’ve been a real hit lately! I love them too so I get it. I’ll make sure to have one for you all this week, don’t worry. 
Before I jump in to June’s most purchased and clicked items I wanted to explain a little bit on how this whole thing works. When I link an item on the blog (usually) it’s an affiliate link either through a program called ShopStyleCollective or Amazon Associates. When you click one of those links (where ever it may be – here on the blog, my Facebook page, or Instagram) I get a few cents for suggesting that item to you. We’re talking literal pennies. If you purchase that item within a day or so after clicking, I get a few MORE cents. Cents accumulate into dollars and then those programs cut me a check!
On the back end, I can see which links were clicked and if you purchased that item, I promise can’t see your whole cart. That would be weird! But it allows me to do these posts and figure out what you all like for me to talk about here. This blog and community is growing (yay!) and reaching a lot more people than just my fellow blogger friends these days and I just want to be up front about the affiliate side to people who may not already know how it works. I try really hard to create content here that you all want to see and don’t ever want to be annoying about “promoting” things unnaturally but so appreciate you clicking and buying things through my links!
June’s Top 3 Purchased Items
1. Far and away this American Eagle swimsuit was the most popular item this month and for goood reason! Currently $17 (I’ve never seen it for more than $20) this super flattering one-piece is loved by people of all body types. Including this preggo. I’ve got a couple suits from Amazon on the way but if I don’t love them I’m going to pick up another one of these before our beach trip in late August.
2. I love that you all scooped up this $8 Old Navy dress so quickly! ALL the styles are only $8 now and I’m a little salty I didn’t see the star patterned one and pick it up for the 4th.
3. This pregnancy pillow. I’m so happy for whatever pregnant lady got this pillow this month. You’re life is about to be changed!
June’s Top 5 Clicked Items
1. After the bathing suit, these wedges from Target caught your attention the most! I love these wedges so much and still think they are the most comfortable I’ve owned thanks to the mostly flat sole. If you are a 7+ there are still sizes available for you!
2. My favorite t-shirt was next. I have several colors and wear them all pretty much every week. Comfortable and flattering, can’t beat it!
3. YES. These Universal Thread jeans (also pictured above) are amazing. I’m telling you, you will LOVE these jeans! I’m still able to wear my normal size (8) for now but have had to pull the ole hair-tie trick this last week. They are SO comfortable, like I can’t even tell you how much so. You need these jeans.
4. You all were really curious about my favorite protein powder this month! I have tried so many protein powders and they all tear my stomach to pieces. Not this one. I also love that I can pick it up when I’m at Target!
5. And coming in 5th place was this cold-shoulder top from Old Navy that I wore (incorrectly) to Camden’s birthday party. Super cute tank but also covers up your (my) arms which may not be as toned as you (I) want!
