“Fashion” sounds so much better than “clothing,” am I right?! After Target, Amazon is quickly my go-to place to pick up new pieces of clothing especially while this belly is growing during pregnancy! I was skeptical at about buying clothes from Amazon at first but with many other bloggers raving about their pieces, the amazing price points, two-day shipping, AND free returns I thought I would give it a shot and I have to say I’ve been really happy with just about every piece.
The last time I shared our Last 10 Amazon Purchases I got great feedback from you guys so I know you all love Amazon just as much as I do! I totally owe you another one of those posts too, I know. But today I’m sharing just the recent clothing purchases I’ve made. They are all “normal” pieces (aka not maternity) that I just sized up in. I made sure to include my sizing thoughts on each piece for you all! Have you guys jumped into your Amazon obsession this far yet? If so, tell me which other pieces I need to add to my closet!
AMAZON DRESS | MY HAT | CAMDEN’S SHIRT | CAMDEN’S TRUNKS (only $8!)
First up, I love love love this maxi dress! It was the first dress I’ve ordered from Amazon and it really what convinced me to keep on try other items. The quality is fantastic. So soft and stretchy. I’m wearing a small here, which I’m not sure I intended to order but the over-sized, baggy way the model is wearing it does not ever look good on me, so maybe I did? I can’t remember now. Either way, this is a small and there is still plenty of room for the bump to grow so I kept it! I’m wearing it here as a swim cover up but I would totally rock this as every day wear, too. There are nine other colors available if gray isn’t your thing! Most colors and sizes are less than $20. Highly recommend this dress!
AMAZON SHIRT | SHORTS | SLIDES (size up)
Again, the quality of this top blew me away! It’s so think, soft, and NICE. Not what I would expect in a “cheap” (less than $15) top AT ALL. I’m wearing it here in a medium with a 19 week baby bump and while it looks ok, looking at this picture has sealed the deal that I’m going to send it back and reorder the large. It gives my mid-section way too much of that “Is she pregnant or fat?” vibe, ha. I do love it though – you all know anything navy and white has my heart!
Well, I did it. I ordered THE Amazon bathing suit of the summer! I’ve seen countless people raving about this suit and needed another, so I went for it. The hype is real and with merit! I wore it to a friend’s house last weekend and got so many compliments and questions about it. I like that it ties just under the boob-area to help accentuate the bump – it’s so flattering. But, it’s looked flattering on EVERYONE I’ve seen this suit on pregnant or not. I ordered a large but ended up returning it and getting an XL so in my opinion it runs a little small. It’s also slightly more cheeky in the rear-area than I would normally go for (which is not at all), but not enough to make me change my mind about how much I like it!
AMAZON BRALETTE | T-SHIRT (wearing a M) | SHORTS | SLIDES
Lastly, the ever-present bralette! When Nathan first saw this he said “So you got one of THOSE, huh?” and I had to spend a few minutes figuring out why he knew what a bralette was, ha. Turns out, the “younger girls” like my teenage sister wear them so I guess that makes me cool?! For real though, I don’t know why I waited so long to embrace this trend. I’m always wearing tank tops under my t-shirts (because bending over is #momlife) and in the summer I just don’t want to add that extra layer! Plus, if you are smart (unlike me) you will get one that’s padded so you don’t even need a regular bra just the bralette. AND it adds some cuteness and sass to your truly basic outfit! The black one is on my list next. I’m wearing the large but honestly will order the black in XL because #pregnancyprobs.
When I first got this beige color in the mail I thought “Oh no no. This will never do. Yuck.” but I love it! It goes with everything. You can see me rocking this and my favorite tee (I legit have it in three colors) almost daily. Sorry, not sorry.
I just went back to check and none of these things are listed at more than $20 and ALL are Prime eligible. I will only buy clothing that is Prime eligible because I know I can easily send it back (for free) if the sizing isn’t correct. Some other things I’m eyeing are this embroidered maxi, a set of these pajamas, and these workout tanks! Make sure you let me know your thoughts if you pick any of these pieces up!
