Today I’m sharing our Whole30 staples! Affiliate links used.

The countdown is on! Nathan and I are starting our second round of Whole30 tomorrow and I am genuinely SO excited. I felt amazing after our first round in January 2018 and after an over-indulgent holiday season…I’m ready. We are finishing up all of our prep today (I did an entire post on how we prep here) so I thought I would share our Whole30 staples with you today!

The items below are things we always have on hand, no matter what our actual meal plan looks like for the week, to make sure we are set up for success during Whole30. I’m also including where I purchase each item from in case that is helpful to you! We do all of our regular grocery shopping at Aldi but some of our Whole30 staples can’t be purchased there, so I usually do one big trip to Fresh Tyme at the beginning of the month then only go back if needed. If you get these same items in other brands just make sure you read your labels to make sure they are compliant!

Drinks

Unsweetened Almond Milk (Aldi)
Califia Farms Almond Milk Creamer (Fresh Thyme)
Tazo Vanilla Bean Macaroon Tea (Target)
Vanilla Nut Pods (Fresh Thyme or Amazon)
Sparkling Water (Aldi’s is truly my favorite but everywhere has them!)

I’ve talked about how hard it is for me to give up my regular coffee creamers during Whole30 before but the Nutpods and Califia creamer help a little. And sometimes a cup of that tea or a sparkling water is the highlight of the day… 😉

Fresh Food

Yellow Onions (Aldi)
Sweet Potatoes (Aldi)
Mini Potatoes (Aldi)
Romaine Lettuce (Aldi)
Colored Bell Peppers (Aldi)
Green Bell Peppers (Aldi)

We buy and use these items weekly in the majority of our meals!

Shelf Stable Food

Some sort of compliant seed or nuts (Aldi)
Tuna (Aldi)
Plantain Chips (Fresh Thyme)

Snacking is technically not allowed during Whole30 but if you are hungry…EAT! I’m keeping a few snacks on hand since I will be breastfeeding this round.

Cooking

Coconut Aminos (Fresh Thyme or Amazon)
Red Wine Vinegar (Fresh Thyme)
Minced Garlic (Aldi)
Bone Broth (Fresh Thyme)
Apple Cider Vinegar (Aldi)

Coconut aminos are a delicious replacement for soy sauce in Asian dishes! Since I’m breastfeeding this round I’m going to drink a cup of bone broth every day to help keep up my supply but a lot of people swear by it.

Cooking

Ghee (Aldi)
Canned Coconut Milk (Fresh Thyme or Amazon)
Almond Flour (Fresh Thyme or Amazon)
Light Tasting Olive Oil (Fresh Thyme or Amazon)

We cook almost everything in ghee during Whole30 to add some healthy fats. Almond flour is great for recipes and “breading” things!

Condiments

Almond Butter (Fresh Thyme or Target)
Primal Kitchen Mayo (Fresh Thyme or Amazon)
Franks Red Hot (Fresh Thyme or Target)
Pre-made Guacamole (Fresh Thyme)
Tessemae’s Ranch (Fresh Thyme or Amazon)
Salsa (Aldi)

Condiments will become your BFF during Whole30! We actually prefer to make our own mayo and ranch but like to have some pre-made on hand just in case.

What are your staple Whole30 items? Leave them in the comments – I love trying new stuff!
