FRIDAY FIVE

It’s been a dark, dreary, and super rainy week here (which makes for some dark pictures in this post, boo) which is certainly bound to happen when you have negative twenty and sixty degree temps in the same week. Also bound to happen? Sickness. It’s everywhere. We have blessedly steered clear so far but we are hunkering down this weekend in hopes to keep it that way!

1. You might see a whole post on these pop up over the weekend but I wanted to go ahead and share Camden’s Valentines in case you are still looking for ideas. I purchased this set of printable Valentine’s from The Ever Co and a box of dinosaurs from Amazon, printed, cut, tied, and BOOM. Easy and adorable. Now to keep them out of sight of my toddler who will likely have a very hard time giving them up to his friends on Thursday…

2. Speaking of Valentine’s Day, we make this heart shaped pizza from How Sweet Eats around Valentine’s Day every year and it’s seriously the best. We use that dough recipe to make plain-old circular shaped pizzas several times a year. Delivery (or Digiorno) is necessary sometimes but making dough at home is truly easy and tastes sooo much better! (Side note: I made her meat lovers version of this pizza for some guests over the holidays and everyone was OBSESSED!)

3. I’ve talked about my love for this blush backpack A LOT already so I’ll keep this brief. 😉 All handbags are 20% off right now at Target which makes it less than $27!! I linked a few more of my favorites below (scroll right for more options) – there are seriously SO many cute options right now. You can also shop all the bags in the sale for yourself right here

4. Four years later, I finally added some artwork above the bed in our room! #adulting I’ve actually had my eye on this set for months and months telling myself I would wait until it went on sale before purchasing. Apparently, Project62 is the ONLY brand at Target that never goes on sale so, even though they are fair at regular price, it kind of became a game waiting them out. HA! I bought these before Christmas when they got down to $45 and I thought they must be going away for good, but they are back with a full-priced vengeance. 🙂 We finally got them hung this week and I am OBSESSED with what they add to the room. I’ll try to take some videos of them on Stories today so you get the full effect!

5. We’ve been back to work for two weeks now (thank you to everyone who has wished us luck and checked in on us) and things have gone surprisingly well so far! Minus last Friday when one of us found ourselves without wearable clothing. Luckily, one of my co-workers was able to bring us a set of her son’s clothes but please note the rubber bands on the bottom to keep them from dragging. And yes, I took him to the grocery store in that getup. If you think you may struggle with pride, go ahead and have a child. You will be checked in no time.

Have a wonderful weekend!
