It’s getting to that point in winter that I subconsciously begin to deny it’s cold outside and will continue to be for several more weeks. Earlier this week I got dressed in jeans, a t-shirt, and a pair of mules before remembering I didn’t know what the actual forecast was. A minute later Alexa burst my bubble by telling me the high was TWENTY TWO degrees so I begrudgingly added a sweater and some boots before heading out the door.
I know I can’t be the only one getting tired of my winter wardrobe so I popped into Target this week to see what sort of transitional pieces I could find. There wasn’t a ton that I loved but I did find a few pieces that I’m pretty sure we will be seeing allll over the blog/Instagram world this spring! (Ps. The main light bulb in my dressing room was out so the lighting it kind of terrible, sorry!)
Sweater – I am obsessed with this sweater! It’s cozy but structured enough that it doesn’t look sloppy. I love the grey but it comes in a ton of colors including both blush and olive that are gorgeous also! (Wearing a M)
Leopard Tank – Confession. I had a serious leopard clothing addiction in college that got so bad I had to cut myself off cold turkey. So I’m trying to be cautious now that it’s back in style with such a vengeance. The grey colors in this one tone the pattern down and I think it’s so pretty. The fabric is really soft and stretchy, too. (Wearing a L)
Black Jeans – These aren’t my favorite black jeans ever, but they are comfortable, good quality, and affordable. They do stretch out quite a bit so I would recommend sizing down! (Wearing a 12 but could easily wear a 10)
Exact T-Shirt |(More T-Shirt Colors here) – I have a feeling this t-shirt is going to be THE ONE this spring/summer. At least in my wardrobe! I love the pocket and the weight and feel so so much. (Wearing a L)

Moto Jacket – Again, I feel like this jacket is going to be EVERYWHERE in our faces this spring. The color is so pretty and it’s really lightweight – a true transition piece. I’m wearing a L but it’s clearly too big (even though it’s supposed to be over sized), so make sure you size down. They didn’t have a M in the store so I’ll for sure be ordering it online.
Waffle Top – This top is so soft and surprisingly lightweight. SO pretty. It’s short, but not quite cropped. I could easily tuck it in to these midwaist jeans. I think it’s cute front-tucked like this or not if you had high waist pants on! It comes in several colors but this pink is the most springy. (Wearing a L)
Jeans – I still love these Universal Thread jeans and highly, highly recommend them! I grabbed another pair while I was in the store because although my pre-pregnancy pair buttons, it’s not a cute buttoned if you know what I mean. You’ve got to try these! (Wearing a 10)
Tie Front Top – Breastfeeding mamas, this top is for you because those buttons are functional! This was one of the only true warm weather tops I got excited for in my store. I’m glad tie-front tops seem to be sticking around because I think it gives such flattering shape to most tops. I’m picturing this top with white jeans and tan sandals in just a few weeks! Fingers crossed.

Blush Backpack – I got my Valentine’s wish and am the proud owner of this pretty bag.
The blush craze is not quitting and I was so glad to add this backpack to my spring accessory line up! It’s big enough for allll the necessary mom things but not black-hole big.
Chambray – While not new, I wanted to share this chambray again along with this post. I think a classic chambray is such a wardrobe staple no matter the season but I especially love it with white jeans in the spring. This one is over-sized so size down! (Wearing a M)
