Is it just me or are these weeks flying by even faster during this pandemic?! Kids went back to school in our area this week and I’m just in complete denial over it. Camden has a couple more weeks until his Pre-K program starts and I’m praying the schools stay in session that long. This kids is DYING to go to school! I think we are all dying for a little more routine and structure around here, tbh.

Rose Trick
Have you seen this tip for turning cheap roses in to big, fluffy looking flowers? It’s one of my favorite things right now because you just can’t beat $3.99 roses at Aldi, ha! You can see an old video of just how I do it here but honestly it’s super simple. Working from the outside in, you basically just pull the petals back/down so they are not so tightly wound. It basically triples their size and they look totally different!

New Balance Sneakers
I mentioned these in my June/July Favorites post but I did some quick stories over on Instagram about them recently because you all seemed to love them! Depending on your size and the color you want they range from about $60-$80 which I think is the perfect price point for a casual, every day sneaker. Highly recommend!

Though I’ve been back working out with the Fit4Mom Evansville girls for a couple of months now, this week was the first week the kids went back to Stroller Strides! I got a great workout and then we stayed for popsicles afterwards. It felt so good to see them out and about and interacting with out kids. Even if Cam was probably sweating to death in that sweatshirt, lol. I can not recommend these classes highly enough if they have them in your area! Local friends, let me know if you would like to come with us and try a free class.

Lucy’s New Mirror
Earlier this week I shared a few updates we’ve done to Lucy’s room in my Instagram Stories! Decor is ever evolving in this house, lol. I’ve been eyeing this 25″ rattan mirror for her room for a while now and when I found it on sale for $80 last weekend I scooped it up immediately! It’s still a good price using that Amazon link (it’s no longer available on the site I purchased from) at $90 with free shipping. I love it! I’ve been looking for something for above her dresser and this is perfect. It adds character but is super lightweight so I’m not worried about her bumping it and hurting herself if it falls.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Purchases
I’m not one to go nuts over the NSale but I DO love a good deal and you have to admit, there are some great deals if you can snag them! I got on yesterday and grabbed another pair of these cult favorite leggings, a structured sweater, an oversized sweater, a pair of cozy joggers, and some joggers for Camden! He has realized how much better it is to wear “soft” shorts and pants during quarantine and I’m not sure I’ll ever get him in real pants again. Oh well. I can’t say I blame him!
Have a great weekend, friends!
