*This is not sponsored. We are just loving this affordable meal delivery kit and want to share!*

If you’ve been around the blog or Instagram for a while then you for sure already know that we are big fans of meal delivery kits in this house. I don’t have to meal plan or shop? I can’t think of one thing that makes me more happy. Over the years we have tried several different kits and found them all to be pretty great. (Why yes I will take your free trial am I right?) HelloFresh has been our steady favorite for a couple of years and truly saved my sanity after Camden was born! HelloFresh is great but doesn’t fit for our budget at $69 for three meals/week. (They do send great promos that I take advantage of sometimes so make sure you stay on their email list even if you unsubscribe!)

At the end of last year I start getting promotional emails for a new meal kit delivery service called EveryPlate. They market themselves as “America’s best valued meal kit” and at just under $39 for the same number of meals it really is a completely affordable meal delivery kit option. Also, (this is not confirmed just my suspicion) it’s seems like it’s done by the same people that produce HelloFresh. Just as the cheaper, younger sister or something. Their branding, food options, quality, packaging, recipe cards and more are basically identical.

There are some differences between the two, of course. You only have five total meals to choose from (HelloFresh is up to 15 options per week!) and the frame work of the meals are slightly different. EveryPlate meals have less vegetables and tend to use more rice and potatoes than the HelloFresh meal options.

The EveryPlate meal options are a little more basic as well. (Which my husband loves). For example, the three cards pictured above are our EP selections a few weeks ago and one of the HF menu options this week is “Creamy Dreamy Mushroom Gemelli with Scallions and Parmesan.” Well yes I would very happily eat that but chicken tacos will go over much better with everyone else in my house.

The packaging is just a little different with the EveryPlate as well which annoyed me at first (because they literally just threw everything in the box) but over the past several weeks they have a new system that I actually prefer! HelloFresh bags everything for each meal separately which makes things a tiny bit easier when you start prepping dinner but takes up so much room in your refrigerator! EP now sends everything (except your protein) in one small box that easily fits (pictured below).

I’m sure some of you are thinking “Man, this girl is REALLY passionate about meal delivery kits!” Maybe I am but they seriously save my sanity right now! I need witching hour to be as easy as possible. Of course I still have to do extra meal planning and grocery shopping but I love having several nights a week that I don’t have to worry about then adding in super easy stuff on the other nights.

If you want to give EveryPlate a try use this link for $20 off your first box! That makes the three meals for two people box just $18.93 including shipping!! GUYS. That’s an amazing deal. They have boxes for four, too! We are getting dangerously close to needing to move up to the bigger box. Anything to make our live’s a little easier, right mamas?
