Welcome to the latest installment of Life Lately, also titled: Lots of Pictures of My Baby. Sorry, not sorry.
Our two month well baby visit went as well as it could! Our big boy is in the 80th percentile for height and weight and only cried for about 30 seconds while he got his shots. I cried for much longer than that. #thatscreamthough
Hobby Lobby haul for less than $37? Score.
Some times getting chip-faced is the best way to spend an evening. And by some times I mean every single day if possible.
Farmer’s Market Saturdays with my boys!
Transitioning Camden from a Rock N Play in our room to his crib went much differently than I expected. He (annoyingly) was completely unphased by the whole thing, but I on the other hand completely lost my marbles. (More details on that in this Instagram post).
Bless. I know I’m super biased but please tell me he is not the cutest thing you have ever seen? Those dimples. That smile. They might be my favorite thing to look at in the whole wide world.
Soon enough this baby will be a toddler and it will take much more coordination for me to do things like get a pedicure. So for now I’m strapping him up in the Solly Wrap and taking full advantage!
Did this Snap Chat filer complete anyone else’s life? I spent most of the day Sunday using it on Camden. Follow me there at rachelemily_49! It’s also a good picture to describe what we did most of the day Saturday which was watch Harry Potter on Freeform while I Snap Chatted too much.
Oh, I guess we got in some family time at the pool, too! Camden could appreciate putting his toes in the water but much more than that and he was not at all feeling it.
No words for the joy this sweet face brings to me every single day. I am so grateful.
I recently started going to the boot camp class I took for a few years before I got pregnant and WHOA it’s about 100x harder than I remember. But I’m doing it! It’s insane to me the mental hurdles I have to get over to leave the baby and just GO twice a week but Nathan has been super supportive and encouraging about me making it a priority.
One of the main reasons it’s been hard is that I usually come home to a screaming baby. Which is hard for me but I know it really breaks Nathan’s heart that he can’t console him, so we’ve starting giving him one pumped bottle a day so hopefully they can bond some more. Plus, I have to leave him for an extended amount of time coming up here very soon so it needed to happen anyways!
Who’s excited for The Bachelorette tonight? I don’t really like either Jordan or Robbie but I’m super excited to see how everything goes! And to hear who the next Bachelor is, obviously. I can’t wait to wear this shirt while my bestie and I watch! What about you all? Are you Team Jordan or Robbie?
Have a great Monday!
